4. MEETING PROCESS:

4.1. Put up the list of topics on Flip Charts.

4.2. Using a 3:1 Multi-Polling method to vote on the topic order for the day. This gives the participants a chance to have input to the topics they have the most passion about. Makes the discussion a bit livelier.

4.3. Start with the top item from the Multi-Polling.

4.3.1. Ask for the owner of the topic to share or explain the topic.

4.3.2. Ask group for understanding of the topic.

4.3.3. Start discussion. (They have already agreed that the topic was an issue by the Multi-Polling)

4.3.4. If the topic is a issue for all teams:

4.3.4.1. Agree on the problem

4.3.4.2. Brainstorm solution

4.3.4.3. Come to consensus

4.3.4.4. Specific action items and responsible individuals for each recommendation will be identified.

4.4. If the topic or issue is something that is working for a particular individual or team it will be identified.

4.5. Continue the discussion until it is determined why this works, what conditions, and attitudes make it work, and determine if all the teams can create similar conditions for successful implementation.

4.6. Continue down the list of topics in Multi-Poll order.

4.7. The Team Representatives develop a forward plan for getting the recommendations out to the operating teams and the rest of the department. (Team representatives should be responsible for sharing the recommendations with their operating team.)
