Ground Transportation (car/shuttle):

1. Contact Shuttle Rio for service from the airport and various hotel stops for R$ 12,00, plus R$ 5,00 for extra bags. Make reservations at their website, http://www.shuttlerio.com.br/en/ which is in Portuguese/Spanish/English or by phone +55 (21)7842-2490.  The service leaves at every hour on the hour from 08h to 19h, so if the plane arrives at 8:05AM the passengers have to wait until 9AM to leave for the hotel(s).

2. Reserve private cars with bilingual drivers through the Intercontinental concierge: concierge@inter-rio.com.br or call Estefania (Stephanie) at +55 (21) 3323-2211.

3. Reserve vans (mini buses) at R100,00/hour with the hotel concierge who makes the arrangement with a third party service.

These services need to be reserved 1 or 2 days in advance.
