Safe Drum Venting During Quench

Currently we quench drums by overflowing with water until we are 180F on the ID of the over head piping and < 2.0 psi on drum ovhd pressure. I have seen many other cokers that water fill to just above the coke bed and then shut off the water and use a educter to vent to the atmosphere until a drain temp higher than us. I have a few questions. 1) Does anyone do this that cuts to a crusher car, sluiceway with manual unheading? 2) When venting to the atmosphere has anyone done testing to determine what is being vented? 3) With the hotter drums after draining are there safety concerns or precautions taken during the bore and cut of the drum? 4) In our case eliminating water over of drums will mean less fines to deal with at the blowdown and potentially the water system right? thanks for your thoughts and comments as we are all interested in safety.
