I believe this a coin word initiated by Velan Re: Andy Smith & Sokhom Foundry identifying the full port flow not retricted metal seated ball valve being manufactured by Velan.. I have read and heard about the word Smith Lock from Velan personnel but I never pay any attention to it seriously. I don't see any unique feature for a Andy Smith patent for valve interlock.
