Larsen & Toubro, Ltd (L&T) awards FMF Engineering FCCU Flue Gas Piping Optimization Project for Indian Oil Corporation Limited, (IOCL) Paradip Refinery.

Houston, TX, May 12, 2010: Recognizing FMF Engineerings worldwide reputation for FCCU flue gas piping design, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), an $8.5B technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company based in Mumbai, India awarded FMF Engineering, Inc. of Houston, Texas a piping /mechanical engineering design contract for the FCCU Flue Gas Piping, Reactor Overhead Vapor Piping, and Reactor / Regenerator Standpipes Design Optimization. The project includes stress analysis modeling and design of the interconnecting piping for L&Ts EPC contract with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for a 4.17 MMTPA FCC Reactor Regenerator Project of a 15 MMTPA grassroots refinery located in Paradip, Orissa State, India.

L&T selected FMF based on their strong track record for improvement of plant design and reliability of FCCs. According to Bruce A. Foote, PE, FMFs Vice President and Chief Engineer, This award is testament to the successful projects FMF has performed abroad in India and Europe. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with L&T and Indian Oil. Our goal is to provide the optimum design and worry free operation.

Project scope includes piping and mechanical engineering and detailed design, including large diameter expansion joint specifications, with shop inspections and construction QA/QC to follow.

FMF Engineering Inc. is an engineering firm highly specialized in critical piping, mechanical, and structural applications with an O&M group specialized in preparations for operations.
